The production process of HengCang-Tech's keyboard OEM is a perfect combination of automation technology and manual precision, covering every detail from design to delivery. It starts with the demand communication stage. Our professional R&D team will conduct in-depth discussions with customers to clarify product positioning, functional requirements, appearance design and other core needs, and then complete the entire design process including ID, product structure, hardware and software through 3D modeling and simulation testing. This personalized design service lays a solid foundation for the subsequent keyboard OEM production.
In the material preparation stage, we strictly select high-quality raw materials such as environment-friendly ABS plastic, metal and silica gel. The plastic used for the shell and keycaps meets ROHS and REACH environmental standards to ensure non-toxicity, harmlessness and durability; the metal materials for structural reinforcement are selected for high strength and corrosion resistance; and the silica gel for elastic pads is tested for appropriate resilience to ensure comfortable key feel. All raw materials must go through strict incoming inspection before entering the production line to eliminate unqualified materials at the source.
The core production link adopts a large number of advanced automation equipment to improve production efficiency and stability. In the injection molding workshop, the plastic particles are heated and melted, then injected into the precision mold to form the keyboard shell and keycaps, and the temperature and time are strictly controlled during the process to ensure the accuracy of product size. Subsequently, the automated shaft insertion machine accurately installs the shaft body on the circuit board, and the wave soldering process ensures the firmness and conductivity of the solder joints. For the keycap character processing, we use UV screen printing and laser engraving technologies, and equipped with AOI keycap character detection system to ensure clear and wear-resistant characters. Finally, the assembly team assembles the circuit board, shell, keycaps, backlight module and other components with precision, and conducts preliminary functional tests to ensure that each part operates normally.
After the assembly is completed, the semi-finished products enter the packaging preparation stage. We will carry out targeted packaging design according to the customer's transportation needs and brand positioning, and affix product information such as model, production date and quality certification to ensure that the products are intact during transportation. Strict Quality Control Process of HengCang-Tech's Keyboard OEM
Quality is the life of HengCang-Tech's keyboard OEM business. We have established a comprehensive quality management system covering the whole process from raw materials to finished products, and strictly implemented the ISO9001 quality management system to ensure that every keyboard leaving the factory is of high quality. The quality control process is divided into three key links: incoming inspection (IQC), in-process quality control (IPQC) and finished product inspection (QA).
In the incoming inspection link, our professional IQC inspectors conduct strict sampling inspection on all incoming raw materials in accordance with AQL sampling standards. The appearance, size and performance of plastic particles, circuit boards, shaft bodies and other core components are tested one by one. For example, the circuit board is tested for conductivity, and the shaft body is tested for service life and friction. Only raw materials that pass all tests can enter the production line, which fundamentally avoids quality problems caused by unqualified materials.
During the production process, IPQC inspectors conduct real-time patrol inspections on each production link. They monitor the parameters of injection molding temperature, soldering time and other key processes to ensure that the production operations are carried out in accordance with the standard operating procedures. For the automated production equipment, regular debugging and maintenance are carried out to ensure stable operation. If quality problems are found in the process, the production will be stopped immediately for analysis and improvement, and the unqualified semi-finished products will be isolated and handled to prevent them from flowing to the next link.
The finished product inspection is the last pass of quality control. HengCang-Tech has a professional modern laboratory, which can carry out a variety of tests such as shaft life, cold and heat shock, delay, drop and transportation simulation. Each finished keyboard will go through comprehensive functional tests, including key sensitivity, key life, backlight effect, waterproof performance and other indicators. The QA inspectors conduct random inspections in accordance with strict standards, and only the products that pass all tests can be packaged and delivered. At the same time, we record and analyze all test data in detail to provide a basis for the continuous improvement of product quality.
